One in ten children who video chat with strangers have been asked to change or undress on camera, according to a survey. This is just one of the startling statistics revealed in Hopes and Streams – the UK’s largest nationwide online safety survey (40,000 children). Children aged seven to 16 were polled by LGfL DigiSafe, the safeguarding arm of the London Grid for Learning. Some key findings from the research included:
