Football may not be coming home but former students at Biddenham School in Bedford certainly are.

Twenty-five ex-Biddenham students have chosen to join the teaching team and work at the school where they studied.

“I think that this is a great example of the way our students and staff feel about Biddenham”, said Head teacher David Bailey.

The University of Buckingham was established in 1976, has 3 campuses and 65 buildings. It has its own department for maintenance and repair which is led by Operations Manager, Matthew Cross and covers all plumbing, carpentry and electrical needs for the University.

The in-house maintenance department has a woodworking workshop, storage for all the consumables needed, an administration and records office and a team of 10 operatives that are all scheduled with a range of repairs and general up keep in and around the buildings.
