Tuesday 6 February marks Safer Internet Day 2018, with activities taking place across the UK to inspire a national conversation about protecting children online. The slogan for this year is: “Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you." It's not too late to take part – the activities can be scheduled at any point in the year and there are a raft of resources which can be used to plan.
The results of a national pupil survey on internet use will be released on 30 January 2017 ahead of Safer Internet Day, taking data from 60 schools and 19,000 pupils
Primary-aged pupils are more frequently using tablets and smartphones to access the internet

9th February 2016 sees the return of Safer Internet Day. Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the aim of Safer Internet Day is to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children.
