Headteacher Magazine, guide to services and products for UK Schools
The Education Training Hub (TETH) are delighted to announce the launch of The Early Years Training Hub from the 20th of November 2018, featuring June O'Sullivan, an expert member of its advisory board, as the keynote speaker.
The event will be held from 1pm to 4pm at Finsbury Square, London, EC2A 1AF.
With high-quality and affordable online training, written and reviewed by Early Years experts and inspectors, the Hub will change the face of training for Early Years and childcare providers across the whole sector. Our approach is in line with the DfE’s drive for flexible training and the use of IT. TETHwill be adding a forum and helpline, so practitioners can talk together and also seek the opinions of relevant experts. All this for as little as £7 a month!
The Hub offers leaders and managers total control over the training they allocate, allowing them to track the performance of the staff member, to look at how the staff member is intending to use the learning from the training in their practice.
There are now 114 online courses to choose from – and that number is ever increasing! Face-to-face training can also be requested (titles available at the event) and one of the highly-experienced experts will deliver training to teams. The Hub can also arrange consultancy and adviser visits for settings.
As well as offering refreshments and opportunities to network, TETH would like to demonstrate the courses and give you exclusive access to them, as well as free tools for your setting.
Course categories include:
• Leadership and Management
• Early Years Provision
• Teaching, Learning, and Assessment
• Personal Development
• Behaviour and Welfare
• Safety and Safeguarding
Supported by an advisory board including:
• June O’Sullivan MBE
• Dame Alison Peacock
• Professor Stephen Heppell
• Ross Morrison McGill (Teacher Toolkit)
• Nicky Cox MBE
You will also have the opportunity to meet the team and some of the trainers.
TETH are also delighted to offer benefits to its members as it negotiates a series of partner opportunities. As these are finalised, benefits will be announced and made available to members. For example, discounts on online journals, resources, products, and services.
